Non-Certified Substitute Teacher

Non-certified individuals may qualify to substitute teach for up to 40 days per year, and may also qualify to serve as daily substitutes for a variety of aide assignments or clerical substitutes. Pay rate is $125 per day, increasing to $150 per day for 20+ consecutive days to cover a specific assignment.

NYS Certified Substitute Teacher

NY State Certified Substitute Teachers

Avon Central Schools is looking for qualified substitute teachers.  Three subs may be assigned as daily building subs for the  school year, to be paid at the per diem rate. Others may be added to the list of approved substitute teachers for per diem assignments. Pay rate for certified subs is $140 per day; retired teacher rate is $150 per day; Retiree sub for more than 20 consecutive or dedicated days is $210 per day.
