Avon Central School District is looking for a SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER FOR GRADES 7-12 (Substitute for a leave of absence). Beginning March 31, 2026 through the end of the school year, June 30, 2026 Avon Central School District is the center of learning for approximately 950 students from Universal Pre-K through grade 12. Located in northern Livingston County, the district combines the benefits of a tight-knit rural community with proximity to the technology and cultural opportunities of Rochester, New York, just 20 miles to the north.
New York State Teaching Certification is required. Candidates should possess a broad set of effective teaching and learning skills to engage learners of all levels.
